The much talked about “Gargantuan Movie Launching” finally took place on this day, Saturday 2nd of July 2012, it was a night to remember, a show at its best. All known Ghanaian residents of Hamburg were present at the Event.
The show was not only well attended, but the nice weather permitted the invitees to be in their best outfits. Brother Cann from Christ Redemption Ministry Hamburg did the opening prayers.
The producer Princess Diana Poku was intruduced by the MC, amidst cheers and applause from the crowd, backed with a sort of morale she walked steadily to the pulpit to deliver her speech which of course centered on women empowered & motivation within the society.
Obviously, such occasions could not be held without the usual formal acknowledgement of our respected community Men of God. This however, necessitated the organizers to have honorably invited most reverent Archbishop & Mrs Agyei Mensah and a renown Good news worker - Evangelist Bright to grace the the occasion with God"s blessing and anointing before the white -wrapped package that enveloped the CDs were unveiled for public sales.
Sight attraction of the event was when the Masters of ceremony (MCs) composed their own songs simultaneously to give more colors in the event of selling of the CDs.
To top it all, came Hamburg Cultural group that performed special "ADOWA" melodies- popular and typical Ashanti cultural music and dancing entertainment.
Hamburg has got a lot to demonstrate, if it comes to show-case, cantata, or cloth fashion festivities. To confirm this recognition, a popular showman comedian nicknamed "WOFA" promptly jumped into the gathering and started performing his magical "Talk & Laugh" comedy jokes to stir the audience to uncontrollable laughter.
Other invited Guests included, Auntie Vivian Delali - the proprietress of Delalis Restaurant and entertainment joint in Hamburg, Mr Rasta - from Osnabruck, Mr. George Kobi- elderly resident in Hamburg and many others.
The chairman of the occasion was Mr. paul Osei Bediako, thisis one gentleman who has always been tere for bthe community.
Auntie Vivian was however granted the audience to give a brief speech to encourage and exalt Princess for her brilliant initiatives -especially, the interest she (Princess) has developed in coming into the filming industry. She therefore commended her brave attempt to have brought out two separate educative movies and that she (Princess) should keep that zeal up.
Eventually, it was surprising but interesting to note that, the CDs copies were sold out so hastily that, demand and supply phenomenon set in.
To wrap it over, one could asses that, it was just a summer fun-fair which was successfully organised to bring Ghanaian community together in Hamburg.
