Katila Sequeira Wins Miss Africa Queen Switzerland 2013

The 2013 Edition of Miss Africa Queen Switzerland was won by 26yr old Katila Sequeira. She represented Angola and Cape Verde. The glamorous event was held at the Palladium in Geneva, Switzerland on Saturday, October 5th, 2013. It featured 16 beautiful contestants who represented 14 African Countries. It was a 4 round decision type of event. The different rounds included Cultural wear, Swim wear, Evening Wear and Talent display.

Miss Sequeira, who speaks 6 different languages, seduced both the audience as well as the Judges with her mesmerizing ora, intelligence, charm, and beauty to reign supreme above the other 16 beautiful girls. During her Talent display, she brought the Judges to tears with a self written poem entitled “Linda Africa” (Named after her mother)

Miss Océane Sophie Brahier from RDC (Democratic Republic of Congo) was the 1st runner up (Second position). While Miss Ami Tuo from Ivory Coast was 2nd runner up (Third position)
Amongst the judges was T.V Reality star Daniel Mkongo a Swiss Kenyan Actor, Singer, and Model. Also amongst the judges were Lwiise Swai and Simon Mocong. Masters of Ceremony were MC Spider and Miss Nana Zabana.
Miss Africa Switzerland is organized by Panthers Geneva and this year’s show was well attended by all works of life in Geneva, Switzerland.
