The "Moje Queens” is a group of talented young ladies who play soccer all around Nigeria and the world.
The team was founded by Chief Muritala Awolola back in Nigeria. This team was put together to promote sports among young girls in Nigeria. The project promotes HIV prevention, prevention of early pregnancies and the promotion of the peaceful coexistence of Christians and Muslims.
The Girls train alongside their school requirements five times a week and drive long distances to some national games back in Nigeria. They arrived in Bremen about 1 week ago to play the under 17 girls team in Bremen.
They will be visiting the Topafric studios on the 14th of Feb., 2013(Valentines Day) for an interview with Tony Air of the What’s Up Naija Show.
